Chop Shop @ New Moon Premiere

Last night, the Chop Shop crew was in attendance for the much anticipated The Twilight Saga: New Moon movie premiere. While the worldwide release of the film is just days away, we have a first look from the folks responsible for the fantastic music featured in the film and on the soundtrack.
Here are a few photos and highlights from last nights festivities:

Alex: "So great to see (and hear) all of the fans from our arriving car. It was sad to disappoint them with Team Chop Shop rather than Edward or Jacob. I loved working on this movie and enjoyed watching the finished film. Yea Chris Weitz!"
John: "The cast of New Moon was so humble and were very gracious towards their fans. I was totally impressed. Weird seeing mohawk guy and wheel chair guy from Glee there. Even weirder was seeing 50 Cent and Richie Sambora. My highlight was seeing Larry David at the after party. It was surreal, like I was in an episode of Curb or something. Another highlight was getting to the theater and having Jennifer Love Hewitt ask if I know Anya and then proceeding to tell me how amazing she is."
Kasey: "Limo. Red Carpet. Anya Marina Reporting Live. NEW MOON SCREENING! Music via CHOP SHOP! Hammer Museum After Party. Red Robed Servers. Real Live Wolves. Amazing Night."
Brittany: "I loved walking into the Hammer museum, grabbing a highly anticipated glass of wine, and turning around only to see two of the most beautiful wolves right behind me. The whole event was absolutely stunning and completely unforgettable."
Ginger: "I would have to say one of my highlights was getting out of the car and onto the red carpet and being immersed into the New Moon frenzy. I really felt the impact of the film at that moment"

Also, soundtrack artist Anya Marina co-hosted the MySpace New Moon Premiere red carpet show last night and did a fantastic job! You can see some footage from the broadcast HERE .
Anya! Anya! Anya!
Last week, the Chop Shop crew went out to the New Moon Talent Tour kick off party at the Hollywood & Highland complex here in Los Angeles. It was a great evening that featured performances from New Moon Soundtrack artists Death Cab for Cutie, Band Of Skulls, Sea Wolf, and Anya Marina. The cast from New Moon also made an appearance and answered fan questions about the upcoming film. The decibel level peaked when Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) made his "surprise" grand entrance. I may have let out a little yell also, but don't tell anyone.

In more Anya news, her cover of T.I.'s "Whatever You Like" was featured on this weeks controversial episode of Gossip Girl. The song plays over a scene where Dan, Vanessa, and Olivia (played by Hillary Duff) all engage in some communal kissing and what appears to be the beginning of an interesting night together. The episode was the most watched of the season and "Whatever You Like" is #22 on the iTunes single chart today. Safe to say, it is a win-win(-win?) for everyone.
